Meet Heather
I’m Heather Byrne Cuevas, your International Award-Winning Esthetician in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I created Skin Cove for clients who want medspa-adjacent skin results with the steadiness, education, and one-on-one care of an esthetician-led studio.
I began my own journey with acne in my teenage years, so I truly understand how emotional and frustrating it can feel when you are trying to improve your skin and nothing seems to work consistently.
That experience is part of why I care so deeply about helping clients feel less overwhelmed. I believe visible skin progress comes from the right treatment plan, consistent homecare, honest education, and clear professional direction — not overdoing it or chasing every trend.
I’m proud to have been a Top 10 Finalist twice and 3rd Place Winner in The Skin Games, an international competition for estheticians. My approach is results-driven, but always customized around your skin goals, comfort level, contraindications, and what your skin is ready for.
At Skin Cove, I use advanced esthetic training, KPS Essentials homecare support, 2B Bio Beauty Liquid Microneedling, dermaplaning, KPS Slimsagé, and customized facials to help clients support texture, glow, barrier health, acne-prone skin, and pro-aging skin goals.
You can age gracefully — your skin just needs support.
Skin Cove services are cosmetic/aesthetic in nature and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Pregnancy-conscious and oncology-informed care is customized by client and may require medical provider guidance when appropriate.
